I have always had the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ, but there are times in my life when I have seen it in action, and really received a much better understanding of the truth. A good friend of mine, lost their mother recently. I cannot imagine the immediate horror of loosing my mother. After thinking about the situation for awhile I became very grateful for my knowledge of eternal families. I have an eternal perspective. Now this does not mean that I wouldn't shed a tear over the death of a loved one, but that I would find comfort in knowing that after this life, I will have an eternity to spend with them.
