About Me

My photo
I am Carlie Gilbert. I just recently graduated from Brigham Young University Hawaii. That's right. I lived in Hawaii, which was a dream and half. Now I'm living in Dallas and teaching Elementary School. I would never call myself a fashionista but I do love thrift store shopping or a good retail sale. So this blog is a glace at some of the outfits I have put together. Enjoy!

Un-normal

So obviously I'm not exactly "normal", So what!? While most of my peers were going to parties and getting wasted last night and doing who knows what, Amber and I decided to dress up. I turned my sweater backwards and stole Dave's reading glasses, I thought I looked like an English school boy, some thought I looked like Harry Potter, you can be the judge of that. Amber was well.. a nurse/lunchlady/homedepotemployee. Anyways it was fun, we drove to go pick up Taylor, I was jamming! Amber was being very responsible and watching the road, but I was throwing out some killer dance moves. It was FUN!

Being normal is vastly overrated.

  1. What do you mean playing dress up isn't normal? Who told you that lie?

  4. I think that sounds like fun, have you ever seen pictures of Kristal and Annie "ugly bowling"
they dress up in really wierd (your stuff is quite tame in comparison)and go bowling. Now that Kristal is old and married, she doesn't go as often, I think she still goes, but Annie and her friends keep the tradition going.
